when everything seemed perfect, it turned even better

after almost being killed by my nerves
and getting lost in the financial district looking for Wall Street with my new "business office attire"
and going through all the immigration problems existing
beginning 2013 as an intern* at SOM is one of those unbelievable incredibly surprises that only take place in NY

even though I have to continue with bureaucracy tomorrow at 7am (I am becaoming a professional of paperwork) this is the best beginning of a year ever!

and when everything seemed perfect, it turned even better...
i just find in my mailbox the perfect present (a book) from a wonderful friend (and a promising architect) from the opposite corner of the ocean



*women's initiative internship. to make the world conscious that we still have a lot of work to do with the lack of women in leadership positions 
when you ask a man why he get a job, he answers "because I am awesome!"
when you ask it to a woman, she will answer because somebody helped her, she was lucky and she worked really hard
